Witcom Engineering Plastics, located at Etten-Leur, specialises in the development and manufacture of technical high performance and innovative polymer compounds for the automotive & transportation, aviation, electrical & electronics, industrial, medical and consumer product applications. The customised polymer compounds are deliverable based on over 30 different kinds of standard unfilled base polymers.

Witcom Engineering Plastics is part of the Wittenburg group a global company producing and selling premium TPE and EP compounds. To strengthen the technical sales force in Germany we are looking for a:

Account Manager  Technical Sales Germany

Your key challenges

  • Responsible for the technical sales of Witcom Engineering Plastics compounds in parts of Germany, which could include Austria and Switzerland.
  • Manage good customer relationship well balanced with Witcom interests.
  • Coordinate (potential) accounts across sales areas with colleague Account Managers.
  • Active mapping of and lead generation in the market for highly specialized Engineering Plastics.
  • Initiate & manage new sales/technical development programs at existing accounts and at new prospects.
  • Guide the Application Development/ Technical Service and Customer Service activities at customers and new prospects for sales development programs.
  • Identify new market opportunities outside existing Product Market combinations.
  • Execute sales plan (budgeted volumes/commercial conditions) at existing accounts incl. distribution in geographic area of responsibility.

Your profile

  • An outstanding and proven track record in Technical Sales of  Engineering Plastics, preferably in a multinational environment
  • A good understanding of the industry for highly specialized Engineering Plastics, bringing with you a broad relevant network in that industry
  • Acquisition of new prospects is a second nature for you
  • A technical Bachelor’s Degree and good understanding of Business Administration
  • Fluency in German and English is required, allowing you to build and maintain a network of expertise
  • A self propelling, professional entrepreneur with excellent interpersonal skills and a strong drive for performance, to produce results on time
  • Capability to work in stressful situations
  • A  team player
